Ingatestone hall Dog show 7th Sept

It was Saskias turn to come out for the day with squims today, we took them both to the horse show first to watch the show jumping, and they didnt bat an eye lid, then over the road to the dog show.

Squims came 6th in handsome dog, 3rd in best Condition, and 2nd in AV Open.

Saskia Came 5th in prettiest bitch, 2nd in waggiest tail, and 1st in best mover.

Orsett show 6th Sept

We took Tiva and squims out for the day, to get them used to, the husstle and bustle of a county show, and entered them into the Dog show , Tiva got a very highly commended in Prettiest bitch and came 1st in the junior 12 to 18 months class.

We also had a go at the agility, Squims was a bit unsure with the height of things, but Tiva loved every minute of it, they both came away with a clear round certificate... We had a go at fly ball too with Tiva, and she was great at it, something i may look at doing with her in the future.....

Skipton show,24th August 2008

Newton grange Bank

After alot of shall we cancel or shall we hold it, the weather held off long enough for us to get onto the field, be it , it poured down once we were on, we were not defeated and went ahead with the show.

Not the Best of Days for the Honiahaka Dogs and Squims Hated the main judge and also the Dog of the year judge, and wouldnt let either of them look at him let alone touch him !!!!!. So he done rubbish at this show.

Results as follows:

Honiahaka Inuit Spirit ( aka Moley)  4th Open Bitch, 3rd Waggiest Tail.

Mahlek Kaskae @ Honiahaka ( aka Kas) 3rd Neutered Male, 5th Most Handsome, 1st Best Smile dog/owner ( well done Georgie)

Mahlek Quimiq @ Honiahaka (aka Squims) 4th Members adult class, 3rd Most Handsome, 2nd Most appealing eyes.

Honiahaka Snow Bo Bear (aka Snow Bo) 1st Cutest Puppy, Best Novelty in show.

A Big thank you to Royal Canin for Donating the Prizes for this show again...

The Weather was wonderful ( Maybe a bit too hot), and the venue was fantastic, we had a great turnout, meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones, the dogs of course all enjoyed themselves, and being able to be let off safely was a added bonus. The Doggy Disco was Fun on the saturday night, with lots of dancing ( and drinking) , a great night im sure was had by all.

Honiahaka Kennels Done well in the show ring again.

With Bear getting a 4th in yearling with Andy then winning Best White NI in show.

Saskia Got a 2nd in Adult Bitch, but was a bit of a minx when it came to her run up ( must work on that!!)

And Squims ( Quimiq) won the Yearling Class then went on to win Best in show, Qualifiing for NIS Dog of the year, with our little cruzie getting reserve best in show and Best puppy in show Qualifing for NIS Pup of the year.

I didnt enter the novelty classes, as i was asked to judged these. I will say it was one of the hardest things ive done for a long time, as they were all lovely dogs and all should of come 1st.

The wolf man comes to Essex to give us a talk on wolves.

for a full day talk and workshop with Shaun Ellis.

Again Another Fabulous Day Organised by the NIS.

The weekend started with shaun, Julie and sarah from The Wolf pack Management Team Turning up here after a long drive from Devon.

Saturday night we all had the honour of shaun joining us for a Drink & BBQ  down in the camping field, where lots of people were staying ready for the talk on Sunday.

SUNDAY consisted of a 2 hour talk on his work with the wolves, followed by a behavoural workshop with our dogs.

He is one of the most down to earth people i have ever met, and nothing is too much trouble for him, His training and communication methods are out of this world.

Shaun is also now a proud owner of a 20 month old Northern Inuit Dog, Who he will train to be his compainion, and will take with him when he does his wolf talks in schools ect.

I have added a page on this website for all of the photos of the weekend .

 June 3rd- sunday

The Northern Inuit Society's Essex show

"Wow What a weekend"

Camping started with a few friends turning up friday, with the rest on saturday,

a vast improvement on last years camping.

We had BBQ on saturday night along with 3 birthdays (1 being georgies 13th), a fantastic time was had by all.

Sunday followed with the dog show, unlucky for us we were not able to enter Anya and Saskia, Saskia due to her having her puppies and Anya had a accident and was lame, so poor georgie had to take bouncing kaskae into some classes instead, and he can be a handfull at the moment (its an age thing) ,

But she done fabulous with him, getting 2nd in Junior Handler and winning Best 6 legs.

I was also very pleased coming 2nd in best yearling with him too.

Moley had her first go at showing, Coming 4th in Minor Puppy, 3rd in Cutest Puppy and 2nd in best brace with yetty.

Yetty was a little star with Georgie, Coming 3rd in Minor Puppy,  3rd in most appealing eyes, 1st in cutest puppy, 3rd in dog judge would like to take home, and winning Fancy dress.

She then went on to Win Best Novelty in show  not bad for a 12 week old pup. Well done Georgie and Yetty.

The Northern Inuit society show

Sunday 20th August 2006

We entered Mahlek Olakhota Saskia, in the special yearling bitch class, and to our amazement she won this class, she also went on to win  prettiest bitch in the novelty class,

We then had the championship class, where all the winners from all the main classes could be judged for best in show,(not a chance we thought), Well to our total amazement we won BEST IN SHOW  and then went on to win DOG OF THE YEAR 2006, what a fantastic day for our little girl.

Georgie, Entered Mahlek Olakhota Anya, into some classes this day too, She came 3rd in best 6 legs, and then to all of our delight went on to win Junior handler, we are so proud of her as Anya is not normaly an easy dog to handle (well done georgie).

Mahlek Kaskae Came along for the ride, but as he was too young to enter the main classes, he was allowed to do the puppy parade, as was such a good boy.
